The concept simple, you take a class every day for 30 days. Join our Sweat Studios Community Facebook page, share your progress with the Sweat team and other challengers and we’ll motivate you every step of the way. Here’s five reason to sign up:

Learn to put your health and wellness first

Lockdown is hard. Kids at home. No delineated spaces for work and life. Days all merge into one. Time gets away from you. You’re tired, stressed, harassed, need a glass of wine and a sit on the sofa to wind down. It’s all too easy to find reasons not to exercise. The 30 day challenge is all about changing that mindset. For 30 days, you give your health the focus it deserves. You make changes to your schedule to accommodate times to exercise and every time your brain tells you you’re tired, or you simply don’t have the time, you’ll have a reason to shout it down.

Gain greater motivation by seeing progression

Progression is a great motivator. You’re more likely to stick to a diet if you see the pounds falling off. Exercise is the same. If you don’t see progression and improvement, you’re more likely to see your resolve waining. Yoga’s like everything in life, the more you put in, the more you get out. Get on your mat just once a week and your progress will be slow. Make a date with it every day for a month and your progression will be much more rapid and you’ll be more likely to stick with it for the long term.

Develop better lifestyle habits

If you’re practicing yoga every day then hydration and nutrition become important. You’ll naturally need to and want to drink more water. Hydration is a key aspect of health and can also help with weight control. Also, as you’re exercising every day, you need to consider what you eat. Your body will want and crave foods rich in nutrients. You’ll need to eat slow releasing complex carbohydrates to give you the energy you need and you’ll naturally start consuming smaller portions more often as you can’t do yoga on a full stomach. All of this will develop good diet behaviours for the future.

It’s the best workout you can do

There has never been a better time to get some more yoga in your life. Staying fit and well mentally is just as important as physically, particularly right now. Yoga is a great head-to-toe, inside-and-out workout that will benefit your brain just as much as it does your body. It will build strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness in a low impact and safe way. It will also protect and strengthen your joints, help with postural problems and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, to name but a few of its many benefits. Also, it’s a perfect workout to do from home. You need minimal equipment. Just a yoga mat, a space in your house or garden and a few blankets or towels as props.

Have and meet a goal

Give yourself a goal. A goal will not only keep you motivated, meeting it will give you a huge amount of satisfaction.
