Hot? For what?
At Sweat our classes are taught in purpose-built temperature and humidity controlled studios. At our Milton Keynes studio we offer hot yoga classes. Hot yoga has a number of benefits, here’s the lowdown:
- Your muscles are more elastic and less prone to injury. (If you can’t touch your toes at home you may find you surprise yourself in a hot yoga studio!)
- Sweating helps you detox: removing waste products like lactic acid and carbon dioxide, as well as whatever it was you drank at the pub last night.
- Warm muscles burn fat more easily.
- It makes for a great (and safe) cardiovascular workout.
