With employee absenteeism costing around £32 billion each year and the most often cited reasons for missing work being back pain and other musculoskeletal issues, as well stress and anxiety, offering yoga to your employees could have a real tangible impact on their health and wellbeing, your attractiveness as an employer and your bottom line.
At Sweat we have partnered with a number of employers to bring health and wellbeing to the fore in their workplace.
How yoga can benefit your employees
Partaking in regular yoga classes has been scientifically proven to relieve stress, improve concentration and focus, increase energy and reduce fatigue. Yoga is one of the only exercise forms to alleviate the physical ailments caused by sitting all day as well as increasing creativity and boosting morale and performance. A yoga class could provide the perfect lunchtime pick-me-up for your team.
How Sweat Studios can assist with your workplace wellbeing strategies
Yoga classes at your offices
At Sweat, we have delivered ongoing and one-off on-site yoga classes at a number of Milton Keynes’ best known companies including Redbull Racing, Xero, T-Systems, VW, Dentons law firm and the MK Dons football team. Classes can be tailored to meet your needs. All we need is a large room clear of obstructions. Due to hygiene reasons we ask that your employees bring their own yoga mats or we can assist you in procuring them for your organisation.
“I have had such positive feedback from the class, everyone really enjoyed it.”
Jolly Oldfield, HR Advisor, T-Systems
“Thank you so much for today!…I have heard nothing but positive feedback from the guys and girls..”
Matt Trenter, Payroll & Benefits Advisor, Fossil

Why partner with Sweat Studios?
Sweat Studios is a yoga studio with a difference. We don’t chant, we don’t bang gongs. We teach yoga for the modern world and modern lives. We believe passionately that yoga provides a path to a longer, happier, healthier lifestyle and our mission is to bring these benefits to everyone, irrespective of age, fitness level or ability to touch their toes. We focus on the medically proven health and wellness benefits of yoga to ensure that the time spent in our classes delivers maximum benefit.
Our instructors are directly employed by the studio. We invest in their development so they can deliver a better product to you. All of our instructors are trained to the highest level. If your regular instructor is unavailable we will provide a substitute teacher who teaches in the same style, meaning consistency for you and your teams.
All of our classes are no jargon; we teach simple, straightforward, exercise-only yoga classes that are suitable for all levels and abilities. We are rated 4.9/5 on Google and Facebook. Our approach has been recognised by a number of awards. We were named Best Small Business in the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards in 2017 and 2018. We won Best Small Business in Milton Keynes in the 2017 SME awards as well as being crowned overall winners on the night.
